Special Needs Trust

The Los Angeles lawyers of Tyler & Wilson, LLP represents individuals throughout the formation of Special Needs Trusts as well as throughout the Special Needs Trust management process.  A Special Needs Trust may be used for a disabled beneficiary who receives a judgment, settlement, inheritance or life insurance proceeds to avoid a loss of eligibility for public benefits such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medi-Cal.  To be enforced, a court must approve a Special Needs Trust itself, as well as the Special Needs Trustee and any expenditures thereafter by the Special Needs Trust on behalf of the Special Needs Trust beneficiary.

Our lawyers can advise you whether or not a Special Needs Trust is appropriate for you or your loved ones and assist you in identifying a proper Special Needs Trustee as well as drafting the necessary Special Needs Trust documents.

For information about our firm and its lawyers and/or assistance with your legal needs, please contact Tyler & Wilson, LLP attorney Christine J. Wilson directly or email us at Inquiries@Tyler-Law.com.
